The transition to next- generation packet networks and Carrier Ethernet services requires service providers to offer their business and wholesale customers stringent SLA (service level agreement) guarantees. However, service commitments mandate appropriate tools to monitor and manage network and service performance levels at all times.
RADview-PM allows service providers to easily evaluate actual performance over time and compare it to SLA guarantees. In addition, it enables immediate detection of service degradation, so that remedial actions are taken to quickly restore performance levels.
RADview-PM also supports current and intervalbased statistics reporting. Device statistics can be collected in a compressed format to minimize bandwidth usage for management traffic. The system retrieves data lost due to connection failures and exports CSV ASCII files to OSS or third-party management systems.
