Uri Zilberman  President, RAD Data Communications, Inc.

Uri Zilberman was named president of RAD Data Communications Inc. in 2008. He began his career at RAD’s international headquarters as a product manager in the mid-1990s and continued with a similar assignment at RAD Data Communications, Inc. In 2000, he became president of RADirect, RAD’s North American online sales branch. Zilberman has both an MBA and a degree in computer science and economics from Tel Aviv University in Israel.

Mark Housman  Vice President of Sales

Mark Housman joined RAD in 2002, bringing more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications field. As Vice President of Sales for RAD in North America, he directs a team of sales and systems engineering professionals that support a broad array of Utility, Carrier, Government and Enterprise customers through direct sales and sales through RAD’s Value Added Reseller channel. Significant accomplishments include major sales to AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, CenturyLink, New York City Transit, State of Kentucky, Hydro Quebec, Colorado Springs Utilities, NASA, NORAD and SPAWAR.

Prior to RAD, Mark spent the majority of his career at Paradyne Networks, where he rose through the ranks from Senior Account Manager to National Sales Director to Vice President of Sales and General Manager, directing a $100 million business unit. Later, as Vice President of Marketing, he led a 45 person staff managing numerous business processes and helping to take the company public. Mark earned a BSME, magna cum laude, from the New York Institute of Technology, and holds an MBA in Marketing from New York University.

Peter Kucharik  Vice President of Operations

Peter Kucharik joined RAD in February 2001, bringing more than 20 years of experience in operations management. Prior to joining RAD, Kucharik served as vice president of operations at Rumarson Technologies, where he directed and managed a computer integration, refurbishment, test, and repair operation. Before working for Rumarson, Kucharik directed Bloomberg LP’s production and product distribution center. He also served as VP of operations for KW Controls Systems Inc, a manufacturer and distributor of UPS, power conditioning and management systems for large-scale data centers. Kucharik has also held various quality management positions for Philips and is a Certified Quality Engineer (ASQC). He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Paul L. Sweeney  Vice President of Finance

Paul Sweeney has been with RAD since 1995. Prior to joining RAD, Sweeney served for five years as the controller for Glasgal Communications. Formerly the vice president of finance and administration of USA Mobile Communications, Sweeney also served in positions of financial responsibility with NYNEX Mobile Communications and Amerada Hess Corporation. Sweeney is a Certified Public Accountant, an accreditation he earned while employed by Arthur Andersen & Company. Following four years of service in the US Navy, Sweeney pursued a bachelor's degree at Hofstra University where he graduated summa cum laude.

Eitan Schwartz  Vice President, Pseudowire and Ethernet Access

Eitan Schwartz began his RAD career in 1991 as manager of technical support in Israel. He later relocated to the United States and served in such capacities as director of technical services and vice president of engineering before heading up the company’s TDMoIP division. Prior to joining RAD, Schwartz was an academic officer in the test and telecommunications division of the Israeli Army. Earlier, he offered his technical skills as an assistant editor at TeleProductions, Inc. in New Orleans, after several years with Electricity Supply Commission of South Africa (ESCOM). Schwartz holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tel Aviv. He also holds diplomas from the University of South Africa, and the Witwatersrand Technikon in datametrics and electronics technology respectively.

Motty Anavi  Vice President, Business Development

Motty Anavi has made significant contributions to RAD since joining the company in 1993 as a senior software engineer. He has served in a VP capacity since 2004 when he was named vice president of technical services and IT. Anavi’s previous positions within RAD also include leadership roles in product management, sales support and strategic marketing. Prior to RAD, Anavi served four years managing computer operations in the Israeli Army Computer Corps. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
