Ensure Smooth and Trouble Free Installation

Equipment Staging

We assemble your RAD products and program them in accordance with configuration data and application documentation. Staged units undergo extensive testing that closely emulates the external services for which the equipment has been provisioned (whenever possible). Each staged unit will be documented in a package consisting of: hardware, software and firmware revisions, logical programming configuration and parameters, and parts and serial numbering.

Equipment Installation

Available in the Continental US and Canada, this service includes staging, pre-configuration and testing of all RAD equipment before on-site installation, testing and acceptance is performed by a RAD Certified Service Technician. You’ll have a single point of contact through the entire install cycle. Includes a statement of work (for larger, complex projects) and site survey when necessary (additional charges apply).

Watch and learn in real time as a RAD technician configures your equipment. Using the latest technology, we connect right to your PC via a secure high-speed Internet connection (port 80), without requiring any firewall or network changes.

Customized Turnkey Installation

This service is designed specifically to deliver peace of mind to customers challenged with meeting larger scale, recurring configuration and/or installation requirements. Simply place the order, and RAD’s technical experts will handle the rest - worry free! Each custom-designed plan can include configuration, staging, testing and/or physical installation across multiple locations, as well as installation of other vendors’ equipment in tandem. Maximize Your RAD Equipment

Project Management

A single point of contact (Project Manager) is assigned to coordinate all project activities within RAD. The Project Manager conducts periodic status meetings to identify and avoid potential conflicts and issues before they become a problem. He/she also defines test procedures and documentation, issues regular progress reports and will manage all aspects of your specific configuration.

On-Site Engineering

Custom-tailored to your needs, this can include site survey, extended testing, and integration.

NMS Installation and Administration

Available either on-site or remotely, this service ensures that your RADview network management software interfaces properly with network elements. It’s frequently combined with product training so you’re comfortable using the system immediately following installation. We also offer support on third party NMS systems to help manage RAD products.

Customized Methods of Procedure (MoPs)

Avoid wasted resources caused by researching through detailed user manuals! RAD will provide team-specific instruction lists to users allowing quick access to required knowledge. This service can include design and production of “short-form” manuals.
