HSDPA Hybrid Broadband Transport using Wireless Access
Deliver 2G and 3G traffic over HSDPA hybrid broadband transport using wireless access.
RAD’s multiservice cell-site gateways and aggregation site gateways enable transport providers and mobile operators to deliver multi-generation traffic over wireless radio connections using HSDPA offload. By using HSDPA hybrid broadband transport over wireless access, voice and real-time mobile services are transported over a TDM stream of the wireless link and the HSDPA data is directed to the adaptive Ethernet stream, using pseudowire emulation. The HSDPA hybrid over wireless solution increases backhaul bandwidth while ensuring PDH quality for delay-sensitive traffic.
-
A cost-effective transport alternative for new mobile services
-
Reduce OpEx by using E1/T1 links only for the voice traffic
-
Reduce HSDPA transport costs by using economical Ethernet equipment
-
Scalable broadband transport (microwave) supporting high-speed data traffic
-
Future-proof solution supports Ethernet in both the user and network interfaces
-
Ensure QoS for voice and real-time traffic
