Interface converters

Interface converters are devices that convert physical media, data rates and transmission protocols, allowing service interworking between different communication interfaces.

RAD’s Interface Converter Solutions

RAD offers a wide variety of interface converters, allowing transparent adaptation of optical and electrical signals into various protocols. RAD’s interface converters enable media conversion between coax to twisted pair and from UTP to Fiber, as well as single mode to multimode fiber conversion. In addition, they allow service interworking between Ethernet to E1/T1 or E3/T3 and between E1/T1 to Ethernet. Other protocol conversions supported include Ethernet to SDH/SONET, ISDN and analog voice to Ethernet, and codirectional G.703 64 kbps to V.35, V.36/V.11 or X.21/V.11, RS-530, V.24 or Ethernet.
