The IPVgate-20B BRI VoIP CPE is a voice over IP customer premises unit for basic rate interface (BRI) connectivity to IP networks. The IPVgate-20B BRI VoIP CPE enables providers to deploy innovative, cost-effective IP telephony services to small and medium-sized business customers.

The solution enables users to easily connect their ISDN PBXs to an advanced IP telephony service over their broadband connection and thereby take advantage of the benefits of cost-effective IP networks.

Designed as a comprehensive communications center, the IPVgate-20B integrates digital telephony with superior voice quality, fax and data over broadband using SIP technology.

The standalone BRI VoIP CPE gateway is also fully interoperable with leading softswitches and SIP servers.

The product features a built-in ADSL modem, router, firewall, and VPN for easy and secure connection of branch offices to headquarters.

The IPVgate-20B BRI VoIP CPE ensures high availability of service (AOS) via a backup BRI line and synchronization between the backup and the IP BRI lines.

The IPVgate-20B BRI VoIP CPE is an integral part of the RAD VoIP System (RVS), which includes the IPVsuite-200 SIP softswitch and provisioning system and RADview-SC/IPV IP telephony management system.

IPVgate-20B BRI VoIP CPE is a smart IP telephony solution for linking businesses to advanced broadband access services.

The built-in VPN IPSec server/client utilizes a 3DES encryption algorithm and up to 10 tunnels per device, creating transparent connectivity of enterprise LANs into a single, virtual one. A BRI backup line to the telecommunications provider switches all phone calls to regular telephony via the PSTN in the event of a connectivity failure.

The BRI VoIP CPE is compatible with most IDSN PBXs, generating Q.931 signaling and providing supplementary services such as Time, DDI (Direct Dialing Inward), MSN (Multiple Subscriber Numbering), CLIR (Caller-ID) Restriction, CLIP (Caller-ID Presentation), and AOC (Advice of Charge).

The AOC service enables organizations and vertical markets such as hotels and hospitals to provide billing information to customers while using existing PBXs.

The IPVgate-20B BRI VoIP CPE employs dynamic bandwidth allocation using voice activity detection and silence suppression. Its multi-layer Quality of Service (QoS) ensures call integrity.
