RAD North America Products by Category - TDMoIP
TDM over IP (TDMoIP) is a transport technology that extends T1, E1, T3, E3, serial data or analog voice circuits transparently across IP or Ethernet networks. When used for voice, these TDMoIP circuits are transparent to signaling and provide superior voice quality with much lower latency* than VoIP. TDMoIP supports all PBX features and all modem and fax rates. TDMoIP, however, is not limited to voice and can extend circuits carrying ANY protocol over IP including Frame Relay, ATM, ISDN, SS7, SNA, HDLC, Async, Sync, X.25, as well as H.320 and H.324 video over IP. RAD deploys TDMoIP technology through the IPmux family of TDMoIP gateways.

IPmux-8, IPmux-16

(TDMoIP Gateways)

RAD's IPmux-8 and the NEBS-compliant IPmux-16 are higher capacity units, ideal for aggregating circuits at enterprise headquarters or carriers' POP or central office. They provide modular support for extending up to 16 T1/E1 circuits or two T3/E3 circuits over IP/Ethernet networks. The channelized T1/E1 interfaces enable point-to-multipoint applications on a DSo level.
