Why do we pay for telephony services?
That's not a facetious question. After all, generally good voice service, frequently much better than toll quality, is available free of charge using, for example, Skype, Fring or Nimbuzz. So why does anyone pay for voice? Similarly, one can get free WiFi Internet access, email boxes, file storage and sharing, Web hosting, and software services. So why pay? The simple answer is that one doesn't pay for the service. One pays for Quality of Service guarantees. But what does QoS mean and why are we willing to pay for it?

New Product

SFP-ER
The innovative SFP-format SFP-ER is the latest addition to RAD’s the System-on-an-SFP family. It is a Small-Form-Factor Ethernet extender that improves bandwidth and distance of existing copper lines. The device reduces the need to install new fiber lines at customer sites.
